Sherry Harrington was born and raised in Texas and was drawn to
art at a very young age. She became so proficient in her
painting that she was able to buy her first car from the sales of
her art at outdoor festivals and shows. Later, Harrington did
commercial art for RCA Records and portrayed such famous musicians
as Charley Pride and Elvis Presley.
She went on to increasingly higher levels of success in her
career and won four major awards at the Bosque County Conservatory
of Fine Arts, one of which was the Best in Show. Harrington
became enamored with the culture of Native Americans and has
focused primarily in capturing accurate portrayals of different
Western tribes. Harrington's success has allowed her to
participate in such prestigious shows as the Briscoe Night of
Artists at the Briscoe Museum, the Settler's West Galleries
American Miniatures Show, and the Trailside Galleries Masters in
Miniature Exhibition and Sale.
